New boys Charlie Oliver and Joao Morelli could be involved for Fleetwood for the first time as they host Scunthorpe in Sky Bet League One.
Manchester City’s 20-year-old central defender Oliver joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season on deadline day in the search for first-team football.
Brazilian striker Morelli, who has signed an 18-month contract after leaving Middlesbrough, scored 19 goals in 26 games on loan at Estonian club Levadia during the first half of the season.
He could help plug the gap left by Devante Cole following his departure for leaders Wigan for an undisclosed fee.
Scunthorpe could give a debut to defender Marnick Vermijl at Highbury Stadium but Cameron Burgess misses out through suspension.
Belgian right-back Vermijl joined on loan from Preston on Wednesday, while defender Burgess serves a one-game ban following his dismissal at Southend last weekend.
Goalkeeper Matt Gilks (calf) and midfielder Neal Bishop (knee) have returned to training but are likely to be involved.
Long-term absentees Kyle Wootton (hamstring), Jordan Clarke (hamstring) and Jonathon Margetts (knee) are still absent, while Sam Mantom and Kevin van Veen left Glanford Park this week.
