AN aspiring model told by Manchester United love rat Antonio Valencia that his wife had left him to live in Spain shook with rage as she saw her shopping with their daughter in Cheshire.
The admin worker said Valencia had invited her home, given her Old Trafford match tickets and even took her to the end-of-season party.
A would-be model says she 'fell in love with' footie ace Antonio Valencia - after he claimed he had split from his wife
But she recalled: "The moment I saw his wife walk into the coffee shop just up the road from where he lives, having driven his car, it hit me like a ton of bricks — I'd been played.
"I felt betrayed by him. I watched her load the car where we'd been kissing just a few days before and I started physically shaking in anger.
"I think I was too annoyed to cry. I was devastated too and realised everything he's said to me was a lie. But once I got home I cried my eyes out."
The 23-year-old was bombarded with flirty messages after full back Valencia, on £90,000 a week, spotted her on Instagram.
Valencia has been married to Zoila Meneses for 13 years
Less than four months before he first contacted her, The Sun on Sunday revealed he bedded nurse Sophie Vagsaeter, 24, in a secret hotel tryst — and his new target believed the scandal ended his then 12-year marriage.
Valencia, 32, said wife Zoila Meneses, 30, was living in Madrid.
He started sending topless selfies. The woman, who does not want to be named, said: "I was flattered. I'm a huge Manchester United fan and so naturally I was quite smitten.
"I agreed to go for dinner with him and everything went from there. He was so charming and funny.
"I'd go round to his house to hang out and his wife was never there so I believed they had split.
"He told me he loved me after just a few dates. It was never about the money — we just got on so well.
"He never bought me a thing except dinner, and that was the way I liked it. I'm not a gold digger, I just thought what we had was something special."
For ten months starting last January Valencia — an international for Ecuador, a Unicef ambassador for the South American state and who boasts on Facebook of his religion and being a "devoted dad" — took her out around once a week.
But in October she was in Altrincham, buying a latte in Starbucks in Sainsbury's, when Zoila strolled in with their daughter.
She watched in anguish as she loaded the family food shop into the back of Valencia's car — where she claims she had kissed him just three days earlier.
She confronted Valencia and they did not speak for more than a month.
Then just before Christmas he started messaging her on WhatsApp with heart emojis and red roses.
On December 13 he called her "his queen" and "my love" and said: "I hope to see you soon."
When he wished her "Merry Christmas" on Christmas Day, she replied: "We need to talk. You never told me you are back with your wife and you were still with me the same time."
Valencia replied: "Mmmmm, I want to see you."
The woman responded: "I loved you and you lied to me. Why do you want to see me? You've got your wife at home."
Valencia then denied the allegations, insisting: "I am single and I can do whatever I want."
Valencia also contacted the nurse, Sophie Vagseater, after spotting her on Instagram
Yet that month Zoila was posting pictures from inside the £2.5million family home in Bowdon, Gtr Manchester.
And since then she has been seen there three times in less than a week — letting herself in with her own key and driving his car.
The woman, from Manchester, said: "He made me feel so foolish. I'd spent so many hours at his house. He must have just timed it so his wife would be out or away.
"He can't go round treating people like this. I fell in love with him. I hope other girls don't fall for his lies."
Valencia has a long history with other women.
In 2014, The Sun on Sunday exposed a series of explicit selfies he had sent to two women.
He also invited the pair to join him in hotel sex sessions.
