Lions roar at Brechin to reach the play-off places

Livingston moved into the Ladbrokes Championship play-off places after goals from Craig Halkett and Scott Robinson helped them secure a 2-0 win at rock-bottom Brechin.
Brechin ended a six-game losing run in a draw against Morton last week but City were level for only 12 minutes on Saturday, with Halkett scoring from the penalty spot after Jackson Longridge had been upended in the area.
Robinson's simple finish from inside the area ushered the visitors into a two-goal lead after 69 minutes.
One of the four points Brechin have earned this season came when they last hosted Livi at Glebe Park - when they came from two goals down to draw 2-2 last August - but there was no threat of a repeat result.
