This is very good from the emotional Toon fans

Geordies are an emotional breed.
Newcastle United is 125 years old today and the fans did not take that lightly.
Despite the current structural mess the club is in under Mike Ashley's stewardship and their position in the table, St James' Park was a sea of black and white before the Leicester game.
They love Rafa on Tyneside
Newcastle host the Foxes, who are dangerous again under whispering Claude Puel, and the Magpies were just two points above the relegation zone before kick off.
But the fans at the Gallowgate end did something really special to celebrate this anniversary.
We've never seen anything like it.
A very classy celebration
The vociferous Toon fans held aloft large prints of back pages through the clubs history.
Together across the back of the pitch it read like a back page spread of major news stories that span Newcastle's 125-history.
A wonderful gesture from the fans to a club that has been a real rollercoaster in the last few years.
In a performance Anfield's Kop would be envious of, it looked like every fan was waving white and black flags before the game started.

Having suffered relegation the season before last, the team came straight back up again but there have also been so many controversies off the pitch under Ashley.
Now it appears he is finally selling the club, but has rejected Amanda Staveley's first offer of £250 million.
With the struggling in the bottom half of the table and a lack of real Premier League quality players, Ashley might find he does not get many higher offers.
Anyway, Newcastle are lucky to have such devoted fans.
