DANNY ROSE has come up with an extraordinary demand following the latest speculation over his relationship with Mauricio Pochettino: people need to stop putting things in the media.

Danny Rose has hit back at the media
The Tottenham defender suffered a cut eye during Wednesday night’s 3-0 win over APOEL Nicosia at Wembley and was substituted with 20 minutes of the game still to go.
Television cameras showed him marching furiously past Pochettino down the tunnel – although he later re-emerged after receiving five stitches to take a place on the bench.
The England international has been under scrutiny since the eve of the season when he chose to go public in an unauthorised national newspaper interview about the club’s lack of ambition in the transfer market, the pay structure and the quality of some of his fellow players.
Rose, injured at the time, finally fought his way back into the first team only to tell reporters he was “fuming” at the decision to leave him out of the north London derby last month for extra training.
However, when social media ran amok on Wednesday with suggestions that the touchline exchange was the latest development in a simmering row between Rose and his manager, the 27-year-old reacted angrily.
"This is getting silly now,” he said. “The manager said it was best I came off and I didn't want to come off. That was it.
"I’ve seen already that people are saying we exchanged words. There is no issue between me and the manager. There has never been an issue.
"People trying to put stuff in the media is not welcomed.
"For the last three-and-a-half years, four years, the manager has been my biggest fan. He’s given me nothing but love and respect. There is no issue. There never will be an issue. People need to stop this because it’s not welcomed.”
Mauricio Pochettino has also played down reports of a feud with Danny Rose
Pochettino has also been anxious to play down any sort of rift – although his response to Rose’s anger at being left out of the Arsenal game was to leave him out also from the next two Saturday matches as well.
That is a policy which clearly still irritates Rose, who was willing to play on through the pain barrier from his cut just to get another full 90 minutes under his belt after he missed nine months with the knee injury he suffered in January.
"If I got through the game, that would have been nice,” he said. “I’m playing a game a week at the minute so hopefully I will get there if I stay injury-free. Once I get through this Christmas period and into the New Year, I feel I’ll be 100 per cent.”
Manchester United have been linked with a possible move for Rose in January and while Pochettino is adamant the player is not for sale, the tactic of leaving him out of the major games precisely parallels the treatment he dished out to Kyle Walker when he told him in April that he wanted a move in the summer.
