Antonio Conte isn't worried about the prospect of a tough last 16 draw
Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge tonight.
The Blues squandered a number of opportunities, although Jan Oblak produced several saves to help the visitors leave west London with a point.
However, in finishing runner-sup of their group, the Blues face a daunting challenge in the last 16.
Conte's men could play one of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain or Besiktas.
But when asked about the prospect of facing a top side in the knockout stages, Conte said: "When you play this competition and you go through you must be ready to face the best teams.
"We can play against PSG, Barca or Besiktas, you have to be ready.
"It is a fantastic competition, the best, and you have to be ready for everything. Our opponent won't be happy to play us.
"I remember during the European Cup with the national team we finished first and played Spain and Germany.
Ernesto Valverde's men could stand in Chelsea's way in the next round of the Champions League
"Sometimes it is not so important. We must be happy to reach the next round."
The draw for the last 16 of the Champions League will be made on Monday in Nyon, Switzerland.
Chelsea are back in Premier League action when they take on London rivals West Ham on Saturday (12.30pm).
