St Mirren ramp up the pressure on leaders Dundee United

St Mirren closed the gap on Scottish Championship leaders Dundee United with a 2-0 win over Inverness.
Second-half goals from Ian MacShane and Gavin Reilly were enough to down Caley and move the Buddies to within a point of United at the summit.
The Buddies dominated from the off and Lewis Morgan should have put them ahead on the half-hour mark but he rolled his effort wide when through on goal.
The breakthrough came seven minutes after the restart when Morgan was brought down by David Raven and MacShane converted from the spot.
Inverness finished with 10 men when Ian Vigurs saw red with 12 minutes to go for a second yellow and St Mirren put the game to bed deep into time added on when Reilly scored his 50th league goal.
