Home skipper Zander Diamond's third goal in two games stole a late point for Mansfield Town in a 2-2 draw just as bottom club Chesterfield looked set to pull off a famous win at their high-flying arch-rivals.
Diamond headed home an Alex MacDonald cross in the 88th minute to shatter a Chesterfield side that had deserved a win for a dominant second half but are now four games unbeaten.
Mansfield, now 10 games unbeaten, began the game on the front foot and dominated the early chances but it was the visitors who stole the lead with their first attack and shot in the 14th minute.
Louis Reed set up Rowley in the box after Jak McCourt had crossed from the left, Rowley curling a superb finish over Logan.
The home side were deservedly level in the 26th minute when full-back Hayden White raced onto Omari Sterling-James' perfect pass into the box to crash a rising shot past Anyon.
Andy Kellett headed home a superb Kristian Dennis cross at the far post on the hour mark to give Chesterfield a 2-1 advantage, with Dennis also hitting the bar while Mansfield keeper Conrad Logan had to save shots from Dennis and Joe Rowley.
But it was Diamond who had the last say with his late equaliser to deny the Spireites a point.
