Mauricio Pochettino is being lined up as next boss at Man Utd and PSG
MAURICIO POCHETTINO is at the centre of a tug of war between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Tottenham boss appears on the wanted list of both clubs in what could become a managerial merry-go-round this summer.
PSG are understood to have told their Spanish head coach Unai Emery that his job is under threat if he doesn't reach at least the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Emery is already believed to have fallen out with world record signing Neymar and the Basque coach could be out of a job even if he brings success to the French capital.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho last week made it clear that he would be interested in coaching PSG and is their first choice to replace Emery.
But if he opts to remain in Manchester PSG have been quick to take notice of the work Pochettino has been doing in North London.
And he is very much on their wanted list while United also have him on the list of candidates they are looking at should Mourinho decide to move on.
Pochettino’s stock is rising rapidly especially after Spurs 3-1 Champions League victory over Real Madrid before the international break.
The Argentinian, 45, spent two years playing for PSG and is a former captain and would be a popular appointment with PSG fans.
