Lincoln and Crawley play out goalless draw at Sincil Bank

Lincoln and Crawley failed to put their recent goal-scoring woes behind them as the two sides played out a drab 0-0 draw at a blustery Sincil Bank.
In a first half that offered very little, both sides struggled to get to grips with the conditions, though the visitors did at least test Lincoln goalkeeper Josh Vickers, but he got down well to thwart Panutche Camara on two occasions.
The Imps' Matt Rhead was convinced he should have won a penalty on 38 minutes after being floored by Joe McNerney and Mark Connelly but referee Darren Handley waved play on, much to the home team's dismay.
Rhead's team-mate Alex Woodyard, meanwhile, was perhaps then fortunate to stay on the field when he caught Jimmy Smith with a reckless challenge moments later.
There was cause for optimism two minutes after the break when a Rhead header rattled the Crawley crossbar, however it proved to be the closest either side would come.
A series of uncharacteristic Sean Raggett errors midway through the half could have gifted the visitors the points, though, but Vickers was twice alert enough to deny Camara, while the striker also blasted wide from an acute angle.
