Barnet and Coventry played out a goalless draw in the first ever competitive meeting between the two sides.
The Bees, who were missing strikers John Akinde and Shaq Coulthirst, could not create any chances against a Sky Blues defence with the best record in Sky Bet League Two.
The first half was an even affair, with neither side able to test the goalkeepers.
Coventry started the second half strongly and had a flurry of opportunities in the first 10 minutes after the interval but they could not find a way past Craig Ross.
Jodi Jones fired wide and Max Biamou sent a header on target but it was easily caught by the Barnet keeper.
Marc McNulty found himself in a good shooting position but his strike was smothered by an acrobatic block from Charlie Clough.
Jack Grimmer created space to shoot from the edge of the area but scuffed his shot with 15 minutes remaining.
Despite an improved performance in the second half and a late push, Coventry could not find a goal.
