One of those to have voted in the controversial referendum on Catalan independence was Sergi Roberto.
The Barcelona player uploaded a photo of him putting his voting slip into a ballot box on Sunday evening.
The midfielder featured at right-back for the Catalan club at home against Las Palmas earlier in the day in a game played behind closed doors.
After the match, Roberto headed to the polling station to make his vote.
"I've voted, democracy!!" he wrote on social media, alongside the picture.
Gerard Pique has also voted on what has been a tense day for the club and the region as a whole.
