Crystal Palace axe De Boer after four defeats

Crystal Palace have sacked manager Frank de Boer after only four Premier League games in charge, with Roy Hodgson touted as the favourite to replace him.
De Boer was appointed as Palace manager on July 1 but did not manage to win a single league game, losing four in a row without scoring a goal in any of them.
The Eagles lost their opening game of the season 3-0 at home against newly-promoted Huddersfield Town, before a 1-0 defeat at Liverpool, a 2-0 defeat against Swansea, and a 1-0 defeat at Burnley on Sunday.
De Boer's stint at Palace is the shortest in the Premier League era, with Les Reed now second with seven games in charge of Charlton in 2006.
Palace are reportedly looking to install their former youth player Roy Hodgson as manager. The 70-year-old's last managerial spell at a top-flight club was in 2012 at West Brom.
