Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele learning Spanish by watching 'Narcos'

Ousmane Dembele is hoping Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar can help him brush up on his Spanish after signing for Barcelona in a club-record deal which could rise as high as €145 million.
The France international, who joined Barca from German club Borussia Dortmund last week, admits he knows very little of the local lingo yet, but the television series "Narcos" is helping him pick it up.
"I still know very little [Spanish]," he revealed in an interview with Barca TV.
"I can say 'Hola' and not much else. The series Narcos is helping me learn, though. Everyone knows it. I sing the song and everything... but I will keep that to myself!
"Since I've been with the French team, too, a lot of the players who play in La Liga put songs on in Spanish in the dressing room."
Dembele, who revealed he'd never visited Barcelona before arriving last Sunday, has two international colleagues who he can talk with in French for now.
"I hope both Samuel [Umtiti] and Lucas [Digne] help me, with the language and everything," he added.
"I have been talking to them for the last year-and-a-half, especially Sam -- he told me to pack my bags because I would soon be here with him!"
Once they've helped him with his Spanish skills, then he can move on to learning Catalan...
