CONFUSION: Kyle Walker has given his team-mates a guide to Yorkshire slang
The Sheffield-born star loves to trot out Tyke jargon from the white rose county.
But it leaves Three Lions and Manchester City pals, including Sergio Agüero, puzzled.
Now he has taken to Instagram to give a tutorial on the dialect.
The 27-year-old ex-Spurs defender gives a run-down on the peculiar terms from where he was born.
In it he says the phrase mardy bum translates as grumpy "Stop being a mardy a***. Oh, mardy a***, can’t say that can I? S***," he adds.

Walker tells his pals: “‘Breadcake’ is a roll, I do believe down in the south, chuff.”
He goes on: "A chuff is like a stupid person or an idiot."
And when he uses the phrase "lug oil" he is talking about someone’s ears.

The footballer says "nesh" means "very cold or it’s nesh outside".
Asked which player feels the cold, Kyle said: “Danny Rose without a shadow of a doubt. He gets very cold, Danny Rose.”
