Kovacic and Varane train in the gym

Real Madrid's squad were out in force at Valdebebas on Tuesday evening, preparing for the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy, however Raphael Varane and Mateo Kovacic trained in the gym.
Castilla players Luca Fernandez, Manu Hernando and Alvaro Tejero were also involved in the session, while Jesus Vallejo continued his recovery alone.
Light ball work, simple control and passing exercises were a feature of the workout.
