Cristiano Ronaldo feels picked on

Cristiano Ronaldo may have smiled out on the pitch as he celebrated Real Madrid's triumph over Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana at the Bernabeu but in reality he remains very unhappy and angry.
He was ready to pose for photos on the pitch with his teammates and family, while since then he has trained as normal at Valdebebas but inside he is surprised that his five-match ban was not reduced by the appeal's committee.
Ronaldo knew he had done wrong in pushing the referee in the first leg of the Supercopa de Espana but he felt that his second yellow card would be taken away on appeal.
Since then he has sought an explanation which has not been forthcoming and he once again has been angered as when the Spanish tax office accused him of defrauding over 14 million euros.
Part of his frustration is that he feels that he is being picked on and this sensation was reinforced for example when police asked to see documentation about his yacht in Formentera.
Real are well aware about how Ronaldo feels and this was demonstrated by the tone of voice used by coach Zinedine Zidane in the press conference following the Clasico at the Bernabeu where for the first time he really showed his annoyance with the media and claimed: "something happened here."
At the same time he gave Ronaldo the support that at times the Portuguese feels he has not received from the club.
Then afterwards at the Supercopa official dinner, Florentino Perez also showed his anger with the Spanish football federation and the referees' committee.
Ronaldo did feel the backing of the Bernabeu faithful when he arrived at the stadium and he was boosted by the way they sang his name during the seventh minute of the match.
Now he has to wait before he returns and he will do that for Portugal and then for Real in the Champions League in September.
