Dover grabbed a second win in two matches to start the season, beating Wrexham 1-0 at the Crabble Athletic Ground.
Ryan Bird put the hosts in front with what proved the winner from a rebound opportunity in the 19th minute, after Mitch Brundle had a shot parried by Chris Dunn.
Nortei Nortey and Jamie Allen also threatened to extend Dover's lead before half-time as Chris Kinnear's men held firm.
In the second half, Allen's header was cleared off the line by Sam Wedgbury with the goalkeeper beaten.
Kadell Daniel also missed with a late curling effort just wide as the Whites made the one-goal margin look comfortable.
