Gareth Bale has endured a difficult season at Real Madrid after a stellar Euro 2016 with Wales last summer.
The 27-year-old has battled ankle and calf injuries, managing just nine goals all season as a result.
Reports in Spain have claimed Perez is growing disgruntled with Bale's constant setbacks.
As a result, talk of a move to Manchester United has resurfaced - with Jose Mourinho determined to bring the player to Old Trafford.

Zinedine Zidane prefers Isco to Gareth Bale, reports claim
However, Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Perez is doing everything he can to ensure Bale stays at the Berbabeu.
And Perez is supposedly upsetting manager Zinedine Zidane as a result.
Zidane would prefer to play Isco, who fired Real to the Champions League final at the expense of fierce rivals Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
The Spain international is blossoming at present and has emerged as a standout performer in Bale's absence.

Zinedine Zidane could reportedly quit if Florentino Perez interferes behind the scenes
However, Perez has reportedly instructed Zidane that, if Bale is fit for the final next month, he must play.
This has then infuriated the Real manager, who thinks he should have sole control of the team's affairs.
It is said Zidane could even quit the club should Perez continue to influence things from behind the scenes.
The Frenchman's contract expires next summer and he is yet to put pen to paper on an extension.
