The Manchester United shot stopper is a long-term target for the La Liga giants.
But if the Spaniard snubs Zinedine Zidane a series of moves will likely be triggered, according to The Sun.
And it would all start with Real going all out to sign Courtois from Chelsea for a whopping £60m.
The Blues would then need a replacement with Atletico Madrid ace Jan Oblak targeted.
The Sun go on to say former Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina could be in line to move to Spain and play under Diego Simeone.
Finally, Napoli would move for Wojciech Szczesny who has impressed on loan from Arsenal at Roma in Serie A.
David De Gea's decision this summer could spark a transfer frenzy
Courtois has been in fine form for Chelsea this season, keeping 15 clean sheets in his 34 Premier League appearances.
And the Blues will be desperate to keep hold of the 24-year-old this summer.
