Five arrested in Eldense match-fixing scandal after 12-0 loss

Two coaches, two players and the main investor have all been arrested in the on-going match-fixing case after Eldense lost 12-0 to Barcelona B.

First team players Nicolas Chafer Garcia and Michael Wayne Fernandez Greenwood, coaches Filippo di Pierro and Francisco Ruiz Casares, and investor Nobile Capuani were the ones involved according to sources close to the investigation.

With those five arrested, there are only 12 first team players left over, meaning some from the youth teams will have to step up.

Meanwhile, the RFEF have also initiated an investigation of their own.
