Real Madrid are prioritising a move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer
REAL MADRID will reportedly have to break the world-record transfer fee to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea.
Zinedine Zidane has prioritised a move for the Blues winger, with Madrid president Florentino Perez eyeing a marquee signing.
Eden Hazard is being lined up to play at the tip of a diamond in midfield.
But the 26-year-old is set to cost Madrid a mouthwatering fee to convince Chelsea into selling.
According to the Daily Mail, the Spanish giants will have to top Manchester United's £89million they paid Juventus for Paul Pogba last summer.
And the £100m barrier is apparently likely to be broken.
Chelsea are said to be aware of Madrid's pursuit in Hazard, and there is a fight on to secure his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.
Reports in Spain over the weekend suggested the Belgium international has agreed a summer deal in principle with Madrid.
But Roman Abramovich is not financially stretched and it will take a world-record offer to test the Blues' resolve.
Chelsea are yet to receive an official bid from the La Liga club for Hazard, but it appears an approach is being plotted.
