Bayern Munich’s commanding centre-back may have just pulled off the tackle of the season at the Allianz Arena.

Frankfurt’s Swedish forward Branimir Hrgota did the hard work by rounding Manuel Neuer but he didn’t account for Hummels’ incredible commitment and timing…

The score was 0-0 at the time and Hrgota would have been regretting the spurned opportunity even more when Robert Lewandowski and Douglas Costa scored twice in the space of three minutes to ensure the hosts went into half-time 2-0 up.

As if you needed more evidence, Hummels is a certified beast.
