Arsenal's disastrous period hit rock-bottom on Tuesday as Bayern Munich recorded a 10-2 aggregate victory over the Gunners, yet to make matters worse it appears as though star player Alexis Sanchez added to recent controversy when pictured laughing on the bench.

Sanchez returned to the Gunners' starting line-up following Saturday's clash with Liverpool in which he was relegated to the sideline.

However, following Laurent Koscielny's dismissal, things started to go awry and the Chilean was withdrawn as the Bayern goals began to pour in.

Whilst on the bench he was actually pictured either laughing or sighing alongside Petr Cech, and this only furthers the speculation that all is not well for the forward in North London.

The former Barcelona striker covered his mouth with his hand at just the moment he realised the camera was focused on him, making it impossible to distinguish his exact intentions.

Questions over his professionalism have been raised of late as well as talk of a training ground bust-up involving Sanchez, Arsene Wenger and Koscielny and scenes like Tuesday evening's are going to do little to quell such talk.
