Stevenage Borough vs Notts County - Ronnie Henry set to be in contention for Notts visit

Stevenage hope to have Ronnie Henry back in contention for Saturday's League Two visit of Notts County.

The defender has missed the last two Boro games after suffering a knock but could be back this time out.

Stevenage have won their last couple of games and Chris Day is again likely to deputise in goal with Jamie Jones serving out the second game of his three-match ban for seeing red in the 2-1 win at Crewe.

Like Henry, Steve Schumacher also missed that game as well as the 4-1 victory over Leyton Orient, with the experienced midfielder pushing to be involved.

Notts County have Richard Duffy back from a two-match ban but Michael O'Connor will begin a two-game absence.

O'Connor received his 10th yellow card of the season during the win at Plymouth in midweek. Magpies manager Kevin Nolan is not short of options to replace his captain, with Curtis Thompson the most obvious choice.

However, Alan Smith, who played up front against Argyle, could easily revert back into a central midfield role.

It remains to be seen whether Duffy will slot straight back into a defence which has kept two clean sheets in his absence.
