Ipswich vs Brentford - Tom Lawrence back to bolster Ipswich

Posted Friday, March 03, 2017 by PA

Ipswich will have top scorer Tom Lawrence available again following a two-match suspension for the visit of Brentford.

Captain Luke Chambers is expected to continue despite nursing cracked ribs, but midfielder Teddy Bishop is out with a groin problem.

On-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams has stepped up his recovery from shoulder surgery.

Defender Steven Taylor (hamstring) and on-loan Reading forward Dominic Samuel (broken toe) continue their rehabilitation, while centre-back Adam Webster (ankle) and midfielder Giles Coke (knee) are long-term absentees.

Brentford could welcome Lasse Vibe back into their squad.

The Danish striker has returned to training after missing two matches with a calf injury.

But Philipp Hofmann (back), Josh McEachran (ankle) and Alan Judge (broken leg) remain on the sidelines.

Skipper Harlee Dean also sits out again as he completes a two-match ban for reaching 10 yellow cards.
