Exeter City vs Blackpool - Triple boost for Exeter ahead of Blackpool clash
Posted Friday, February 24, 2017 by PA
Promotion-chasing Exeter are boosted by the return of Christy Pym, Robbie Simpson and Jake Taylor for the visit of Blackpool in Sky Bet League Two.
Goalkeeper Pym and forward Simpson both missed last week's draw with Stevenage after suffering knocks while midfielder Taylor was suspended.
Manager Paul Tisdale must now decide whether to restore Pym or retain Bobby Olejnik, who started the season as first-choice keeper.
Midfielders Lee Holmes and Tom McCready are the Grecians' only absentees through injury.
Blackpool will be without Tom Aldred for the trip.
The defender was booked for the 10th time this season in the draw with Crewe at Bloomfield Road last weekend and will now miss the Seasiders' next two fixtures.
Striker Kyle Vassell (hamstring) is top of boss Gary Bowyer's injury concerns having been forced off in that game, while Neil Danns (hamstring) and Jim McAlister (fractured tibia) were already out.
Bowyer has signed former Rangers midfielder Ian Black and he could make his debut.
