Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo blasts media over Lionel Messi 'war'

Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo insists he's never been at "war" with Barcelona rival Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo made the comments after being named China's Player of the Year.
He told Dongqiudi: "For me, this war does not exist.
"You can not compare players, Cristiano is Cristiano and Messi is Messi. We are both big players, individually and collectively. We play in different clubs, but when we are together we respect each other. I have a normal relationship with him.
"People are constantly comparing us, but it is normal. They even compare our children, how they grow, how they go in school, who is faster..."
