Barcelona still haven't made Messi an offer
Negotiations limited to two phone calls

Although the message coming out of Barcelona is that contract renewal talks with Lionel Messi are a priority, the truth is that the club still haven't made their best player an offer.
The likelihood is that there won't be one coming in the short term either.
Josep Maria Bartomeu has established contact with the Argentinian's representatives via a couple of telephone conversations, but nothing more.
No figures have been discussed and negotiations are neither going badly or well at this stage - because they don't exist at all.
