Reading vs Fulham - Reading without suspended Jordan Obita against Fulham
Posted Tuesday, January 24, 2017 by PA
Reading are without the suspended Jordan Obita for Tuesday's Championship visit of Fulham after the full-back was sent off in Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Derby.
In his absence, Paul McShane is expected to start, and should captain Jaap Stam's team having returned from a wrist injury in that same game.
Tiago Ilori is set for his home debut, after impressing at Derby when making his full debut.
Stam is, however, without winger Callum Harriott, midfielder Stephen Quinn and striker Deniss Rakels because of long-term hamstring, knee and ankle injuries respectively.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has no new injury concerns.
Forwards Floyd Ayite and Neeskens Kebano remain unavailable owing to international commitments at the African Nations Cup.
Jokanovic's biggest dilemma will surround whether to again start Ryan Fredericks from the team that on Saturday drew 1-1 at QPR.
The full-back was substituted at half-time because of Jokanovic's unhappiness at his performance. Denis Odoi replaced him, and could yet start on Tuesday.
