Borussia Dortmund are set to launch a 20 million euro bid for Ajax Amsterdam forward Kasper Dolberg, after confirming the sale of Adrian Ramos to Chinese side Chongqing Dangdai Lifan.
According to German publication Sport Bild, the Bundesliga outfit are looking to beat Manchester United to the signature of one of Europe's brightest prospects.
The 19-year-old has already been lauded by the Dutch media as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic because of his supreme technical ability, height and goal scoring prowess and is seen as the perfect replacement for the departing Colombia international, Ramos.
It will continue the recent trend of Thomas Tuchel's transfer policy of signing immerging talent from around the continent after his off-season moves of forwards Emre Mor and Ousmanne Dembele.
Ramos departure was confirmed on Friday by BVB head coach Tuchel, and is rumoured to be on his way to the Spanish Primera Division with Granada on loan until the Chinese Super League resumes.
"It was Adrian's desire to play more and we've agreed to the move with a heavy heart," Tuchel told reporters.
