Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic could join Bournemouth this month
The Bosian goalkeeper is yet to feature in the Premier League this season and has made just four cup appearances under Antonio Conte.
The Telegraph claim Bournemouth want to sign the 29-year-old this month but have seen their first offer rebuffed.
Eddie Howe's side have not given up hope of signing Begovic before the end of the transfer window.
The two clubs are still in negotiations and the Cherries are expected to table a second bid soon.
Conte is reluctant to let Begovic go with him playing an important role as Thibaut Courtois' back-up.
But the Italian chief knows the stopper is desperate for more regular action and will considering selling if the price is right.
The Telegraph add that Chelsea are tempted to cash in on the player who they signed from Stoke for ï¿¡8m in 2015.
Should Begovic move to the south coast this month, Conte would be left with limited options in goal.
Chelsea would have to rely on summer signing Eduardo, who is yet to make his Chelsea debut, if Courtois gets injured or suspended.
