Bonaventura signs on with Milan

AC Milan have announced that midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura has signed a new contract with the Serie A club.
A target for Chelsea this January transfer window, the 27-year-old Italian international opted rather to remain at the San Siro.
Having joining Milan from Atalanta in 2014, Bonaventura has gone on to play 92 times for I Rossoneri, scoring 18 goals and providing 20 assists.
A very brief statement on the club's official website read: "AC Milan announces that Giacomo Bonaventura has renewed his contract with the club until 30th June 2020."
