Cardiff are waiting on Peter Whittingham and Lee Peltier ahead of Aston Villa's visit.
Neither player would have been ready for Friday night's game at Brighton, which was postponed because of fog.
But Whittingham (calf) and Peltier (thigh) will be checked as Cardiff seek to avenge their 3-1 Sky Bet Championship defeat at Villa five weeks ago.
Gabon defender Bruno Ecuele Manga could play before leaving for the African Nations Cup.
Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is set to miss out after suffering a dead leg in the 1-1 draw with Leeds.
Grealish was replaced by Ross McCormack on Thursday night, and the Scotland striker will be hoping to return to the starting line-up on his old Cardiff stamping ground.
Jordan Ayew is available as Ghana have granted the midfielder permission to play before he links up for African Nations Cup duty.
But nine-goal top scorer Jonathan Kodjia could miss out with his country, the Ivory Coast, planning a training camp in Paris next week.
