Norwich City vs Derby County - Robbie Brady banned for Derby clash
Posted Sunday, January 01, 2017 by PA
Norwich will be without Robbie Brady through suspension for the visit of Derby following his red card at Brentford.
Playmaker Jonny Howson returns following his one-match ban, and forward Steven Naismith could come back into contention after Cameron Jerome failed to find the net again at Griffin Park.
Midfielder Graham Dorrans (knee) remains sidelined while Louis Thompson continues to recover from an abdominal problem and winger Matt Jarvis is stepping up his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
Derby will be without suspended midfielder Will Hughes, who sits out the first game of a two-match ban.
Hughes received his 10th booking of the season in Saturday's goalless home draw against Wigan, so Craig Bryson will be hoping to step into the starting line-up.
Boss Steve McClaren said he will freshen up his side and that could mean recalls for forwards Abdoul Camara, Matej Vydra and Andreas Weimann.
Marcus Olsson (hamstring), Cyrus Christie (foot), Craig Forsyth (knee) and Max Lowe (groin) all remain sidelined as the Rams bid to extend their unbeaten league run to 11 matches.
