Liverpool players have urged Jurgen Klopp to move for Arsenal attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has just 18 months left on his current Gunners deal and a bid of £25m would represent good value for Arsene Wenger.

The Telegraph says Jurgen Klopp has received rave reviews from his Liverpool stars Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana.

Both Reds midfielders play alongside Oxlade-Chamberlain with England and their advice has helped convince Klopp to make a move next month.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has scored six goals and provided six assists this season, is understood to be frustrated at his lack of consistent starts recently.

The midfield ace, who Arsenal signed for £12m from Southampton in 2011, could be tempted to leave the Emirates next month and join Klopp at Anfield.
