Monchengladbach 1 - 2 Wolfsburg: Mario Gomez fires Wolfsburg to valuable win over Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach coach Andre Schubert faces an uncertain future after his side were beaten 2-1 at home by fellow strugglers Wolfsburg.
The loss leaves Monchengladbach with just one win from their last 11 Bundesliga matches and they now find themselves in the bottom five of the division.
In contrast, Wolfsburg are now up to 13th after claiming a second successive win, which will come as a relief to their coach Valerien Ismael, whose job was the subject of speculation in recent days with Huddersfield boss David Wagner linked to the post.
The visitors made an ideal start with Daniel Caligiuri putting them in front in the third minute.
Gladbach levelled through Thorgan Hazard early in the second half after Lars Stindl's shot was only parried by Diego Benaglio, but the Wolves regained the upper hand through Mario Gomez only five minutes later and they held on for the victory.
