Borussia Dortmund 1 - 1 Augsburg: Borussia Dortmund held to draw by Augsburg

Borussia Dortmund drew their third game in a row as Augsburg secured a 1-1 tie at the Westfalenstadion.
Dong-Won Ji put Augsburg in front, but Ousmane Dembele's strike was not enough for the Westphalians to take more than just a point in front of their own fans.
Augsburg's caretaker coach Manuel Baum guided the Bavarians to a 1-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in his first game in charge at the weekend and the early signs in Dortmund were equally promising.
Dortmund nevertheless created the first real opening of the Bundesliga clash when Mario Gotze's shot grazed the outside of the post in the ninth minute.
Martin Hinteregger was Augsburg's hero at the weekend and he was involved in their opening goal in the 33rd minute when he drew most of the Dortmund defence towards him before finding Jan Moravek in space, who in turn put Ji through one-on-one with Roman Weidenfeller.
The former Dortmund forward's first attempt was blocked, but he followed up to make sure at the second time of asking.
Dortmund levelled two minutes into the second half with Dembele setting the tone for a much-improved second-half performance from the hosts.
They had two penalty claims waved away by the referee as they searched eagerly for a way through the massed ranks of Augsburg defenders.
Try as they might, Thomas Tuchel's men could not find a way through as they had to make do with just a point for the third game in a row in all competitions.
