Stevenage Borough vs Blackpool - Stevenage set for double boost ahead of Blackpool clash
Posted Friday, December 09, 2016 by PA
Stevenage are set for a double boost ahead of their Sky Bet League Two game at home to Blackpool.
Striker Matt Godden is nearing a return from his hamstring injury while defender Kgosi Ntlhe may also be available as he is close to recovering from a knee problem.
Midfielder Tom Conlon remains a long-term absentee with a knee ligament injury.
Stevenage sit ninth in the table, level on points with Blackpool, after winning three out of their last four league games.
Dean Lyness will hope to push for a place in goal for Blackpool after returning to action in the Checkatrade Trophy.
Lyness was making his comeback after suffering an ankle injury two months ago, with Sam Slocombe stepping in, and saved two penalties in a shoot-out win over Doncaster.
There was also a welcome return as a substitute for striker Jack Redshaw, who has sat out the whole of the season so far with shin splints.
Midfielder Colin Daniel's hamstring problem will rule him out as Blackpool bid for a fourth win in five league matches.
