Scunthorpe United vs Oldham Athletic AFC - David Mirfin ruled out for a month

League One leaders Scunthorpe have suffered an injury setback as they bid to stretch their advantage against Oldham at Glanford Park.
Boss Graham Alexander will have to cope without centre-back David Mirfin for around a month after he suffered a foot injury in last week's 1-0 win at Coventry.
Charlie Goode replaced Mirfin in the Midlands and is set to continue in the role as Alexander looks to keep changes to a minimum.
Richie Smallwood and Luke Williams are both pushing to be involved again after also coming off the bench last week.
Oldham winger Lee Croft may be pushing for a recall after three successive substitute appearances following a back injury.
Midfielder Paul Green is likely to be out for another week with a calf problem.
Centre-back Anthony Gerrard was due to resume training this week and will be signed on a short-term deal once he is fit.
Former Watford midfielder Ross Jenkins, a free agent, is also training with the club this week as manager Stephen Robinson looks for options to strengthen his squad.
