Preston North End vs Wolves - Ben Pearson returns for Preston against Wolves

Posted Friday, November 18, 2016 by PA

Preston manager Simon Grayson welcomes back midfielder Ben Pearson from a one-match suspension for the visit of Wolves on Saturday.

However, Grayson is still without Republic of Ireland international Alan Browne, who has one more game to serve after his red card against Newcastle in the EFL Cup.

Aiden McGeady and Bailey Wright have both returned unscathed from international duty.

Striker Steve May has continued to add game time in two behind-closed-door fixtures during the break.

Wolves boss Paul Lambert will be without influential Wales midfielder David Edwards through suspension.

Fellow internationals Romain Saiss, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause have all returned without issues.

Lambert does have a few injuries in the squad at the moment - Carl Ikeme, Joe Mason, Ola John, Prince Oniangue as well as a few more longer-term absentees have been on the sidelines of late.

He will be hoping to have a much fuller squad available soon as his side aim to climb the Sky Bet Championship table.
