Newport County vs Alfreton Town - Cup-tied duo out of FA Cup replay with Alfreton

Newport boss Graham Westley will be without Josh O'Hanlon and Jake Jebb for Tuesday's FA Cup first-round replay against non-league Alfreton.

Defender O'Hanlon, who made his first league appearance for the Exiles in Saturday's victory over Carlisle, and midfielder Jebb, an unused substitute in that game, are cup-tied having joined the club since the initial tie.

Right-back Paul Bignot will once again be unavailable for County as he serves the second match of a six-game suspension.

Striker Lenell John-Lewis (knee) remains a long-term absentee.

National League North side Alfreton welcome back Adam Priestley for the trip to Rodney Parade.

The forward missed Saturday's defeat at Bradford Park Avenue while on international duty with Gibraltar, playing the final five minutes of the 3-1 World Cup qualifier defeat to Cyprus.

Fellow striker Paul Clayton, who missed the initial game on November 6, also comes back into contention, having completed a three-game ban following his late sending off against Chorley at the end of last month.

Reds manager Nicky Law has seen his side suffer back-to-back defeats in the league since the first clash with the Exiles.
