Crewe Alexandra vs Cheltenham Town - Bakayogo missing for Crewe's FA Cup replay

Posted Tuesday, November 15, 2016 by PA

Crewe's Zoumana Bakayogo will miss Tuesday's FA Cup replay against Cheltenham with a hamstring tear.

The left-back suffered the injury in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Plymouth and will be out for up to three weeks.

Billy Bingham (calf) and George Ray (groin) are struggling for fitness and likely to be out for a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, the game looks to have come too soon for striker Ryan Lowe (ankle).

Cheltenham are without Jordan Cranston, owing to suspension.

The defender picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Hartlepool to earn a one-match ban.

Recent signing Alex Cooper and James Rowe, however, could yet be involved.

The midfielders face late fitness tests before manager Gary Johnson selects his team.
