Premier League manager targeting January move for Morgan Schneiderlin

Morgan Schneiderlin joined Manchester United last summer for £27 million and made an impressive 39 appearances in all competitions under Louis van Gaal in his first campaign at the club.
Having progressed up the divisions with Southampton before establishing himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in English football, he became a France international, however he was only selected for their Euro 2016 squad due to a pre-tournament injury to Lassana Diarra
Schneiderlin suffered a loss of form towards the back-end of last season, failing to get off the bench during the FA Cup final, and he's well and truly become a fringe player under new boss Jose Mourinho - however one Premier League manager is looking to change that.
The 27-year-old has been starved of action, astonishingly playing just six minutes of league football this term to accompany two Europa League starts and two more outings in the EFL Cup.
The Mirror have reported that Ronald Koeman wants Morgan Schneiderlin at Everton and is keen on bringing the United man to Goodison Park in the upcoming January transfer window.
KOEMAN WANTS SCHNEIDERLIN
The 53-year-old only took over on Merseyside this summer following a hugely successful two-year stint at St Mary's, but he's already looking to build his own team and he's convinced he would be able to revive Schneiderlin's somewhat stuttering career.
Farhad Moshiri, Everton's new majority shareholder, confirmed last week that there are significant funds available for Koeman to spend and he will be backed by the club should he opt to dip into the market in around eight weeks time.
What's more, Koeman should know Schneiderlin fairly well too, seeing as he managed him during the 2014-15 campaign - the season before the Frenchman moved to Old Trafford.
KOEMAN WANTS ANOTHER UNITED STAR TOO
Koeman has also signalled his intentions to bring in Memphis Depay, believing that regular playing time is what the winger needs to return to the levels which saw him score 28 goals and pick up the coveted Johan Cruyff Trophy (Dutch Football Talent of the Year) in 2014-15.
On his 22-year-old compatriot, the Dutchman admitted: "I would like to have him. He's a young player with individual qualities and a threat. He's efficient. I would like him in January."
He added, when speaking to Fox Sports: "I think he is an interesting player. He has great individual qualities. He just needs to play games."
The former PSV star sent a message to both his current employers and potential suitors on Sunday evening when he came off the bench and scored twice for the Netherlands in Luxembourg to rescue a much-needed win for his country.
