Millwall vs Bristol Rovers - Millwall set to miss Steve Morison against Bristol Rovers

Millwall boss Neil Harris are sweating on the fitness of Steve Morison for their Sky Bet League One clash with Bristol Rovers.

The striker suffered a knee injury as the Lions beat Southend in the FA Cup last weekend and is fighting a losing battle to be ready.

If Morison does not make it, Harris could turn to Harry Smith to lead the line after the 21-year-old scored a brace on his debut in Tuesday's 3-1 Checkatrade Trophy victory at Luton.

Defender Shaun Hutchinson started against both Southend and Luton and will hope to make his full league debut following an injury-hit start to life at The Den after joining from Fulham in the summer.

Bristol Rovers defender Mark McChrystal is suspended for the trip.

Back-up goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall is also definitely out with a long-term knee problem which requires surgery.

Charlie Colkett, Lee Mansell and Billy Bodin are all expected to be fit after being struck by illness last week.

Jake Gosling has returned to Rovers after Cambridge ended his stay early but the midfielder cannot play again until his loan officially expires in January.
