Exeter City vs Doncaster Rovers - Exeter's injury problems easing ahead of Doncaster clash

Posted Thursday, November 10, 2016 by PA

Exeter's injury list is easing with long-term absentee Jordan Tillson close to a return.

The defender has been out since fracturing his ankle against Portsmouth in August, but boss Paul Tisdale expects him to return to training next week.

Luke Croll is a doubt after suffering concussion against Morecambe and will be assessed ahead of their game against Doncaster at St James Park.

Troy Brown is close to a return, with Ryan Harley and Christy Pym expected back in full training in a week.

Doncaster defender Andy Butler has not been ruled out after being stretchered off towards the end of last week's FA Cup defeat at Oldham.

Butler also left the field in a neck brace after taking a bang on his spine, but later tweeted it had been precautionary and returned to training on Thursday.

Midfielder Tommy Rowe is expected to be back in contention after missing out last week due to a foot injury, and goalkeeper Marko Marosi is hoping to return after being replaced by Ross Etheridge in the midweek Checkatrade Trophy defeat to Port Vale.

Defender Craig Alcock has just completed his first two games of the season following a long-term ankle injury and is also in contention.
