Charlton Athletic vs Scunthorpe United - Charlton to make changes against Scunthorpe in FA Cup
Posted Friday, November 04, 2016 by PA
Charlton boss Russell Slade will make "one or two changes" for the FA Cup visit of Scunthorpe.
Lee Novak could be in line for a start after climbing off the bench to head a late winner against Chesterfield last weekend.
Fellow striker Jordan Botaka could also figure having shaken off an injury picked up while on international duty with Congo.
Midfielder Ahmed Kashi remains a long-term absentee with an Achilles injury.
High-flying Scunthorpe are without Neal Bishop who is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in last week's 4-1 over Swindon.
But boss Graham Alexander has plenty of options with Sam Mantom and Jamie Ness both vying to replace Bishop in the starting line-up.
Richie Smallwood is expected to be declared eligible to play as he has permission in his loan agreement from Rotherham.
Luke Williams and Jordan Clarke could return to contention after long-term injuries but Harry Toffolo remains on the sidelines.
