Aston Villa vs Blackburn Rovers - Jack Grealish may return for Villa's clash with Blackburn

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce could welcome back Jack Grealish for his side's Championship clash with Blackburn at Villa Park.

Grealish is available again after completing his three-match suspension for stamping on Wolves midfielder Conor Coady last month.

The youngster is match-fit after coming through a midweek under-23 game and will provided much-needed options for Bruce with Jordan Ayew ruled out through suspension.

Albert Adomah is also struggling to be fit in time after suffering a dead leg in Villa's 1-1 draw at Birmingham last Sunday.

Blackburn have defensive injuries to deal with as they go into the match.

Centre-half Tommie Hoban's dislocated shoulder is being assessed by parent club Watford and he could be out for up to three months, while full-back Derrick Williams' hamstring problem will sideline him for several weeks.

Meanwhile Wes Brown (knee), Elliott Ward (ankle) and Adam Henley (hamstring) have had longer term complaints.

Gordon Greer and Anthony Stokes were both passed fit for the draw against Wolves to relieve some of manager Owen Coyle's worries.
