Chesterfield vs Fleetwood Town - Chesterfield to assess Conor Wilkinson ahead of Fleetwood visit

Chesterfield will check on Conor Wilkinson ahead of Fleetwood's visit to the Proact Stadium.

Wilkinson is nursing a knock following the defeat at Southend on Saturday and the on-loan Bolton forward will be assessed.

Ched Evans has been absent for the last five league matches. Blues boss Danny Wilson is not putting a timescale on the striker's return other than saying he will be back in contention "when he is fit".

Goalkeeper Tommy Lee is training again after recovering from a dislocated shoulder but he remains some way off being considered for first-team action.

Jack Sowerby is set to retain his place in Fleetwood's team.

The striker, local to the Fylde Coast, scored just three minutes into his first appearance of the season in a 2-0 win over Peterborough and looks to have done enough to keep his spot in Uwe Rosler's side.

That could mean that David Ball would have to revert to the bench if he can overcome the knock that he picked up prior to the international break.

Fellow forward Aaron Amadi-Holloway (hamstring) is closing in on a comeback having returned to training, though Rosler has identified next month's EFL Trophy clash with Carlisle.
