Ipswich vs Burton Albion FC - Midfield duo could feature for Ipswich

Midfield duo Jonny Williams and Teddy Bishop will hope to feature more prominently when Ipswich entertain Burton.

Williams has recovered from ankle ligament damage sustained in pre-season and came on for the last six minutes of Town's goalless draw at Blackburn.

Bishop has been struggling with a broken nose of late but managed the closing 16 minutes of the Ewood Park clash.

Defender Adam Webster returned after two games out with a hamstring problem against Rovers and showed no ill-effects, while striker David McGoldrick is expected to be back in contention for Saturday's trip to Newcastle after an ankle ligament injury.

Burton boss Nigel Clough has a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time this season.

Injury doubts over defenders John Brayford and John Mousinho did not rule either out of being available for Saturday's goalless draw at Wigan, with Brayford playing the full 90 minutes and Mousinho included on the bench.

Jackson Irvine also completed the game despite only returning from his international exploits with Australia on Thursday and Clough might be tempted to give the midfielder a break against Ipswich.

Conversely, Jamie Ward was only a substitute on his return from international duty with Northern Ireland and he could come back into the team at Portman Road.
